I love to sit courtside at a basketball game. This year I bought season seats for the Cal State Bakersfield Women’s Basketball team. My good friend Greg is the head coach. A few months back he was telling me about the team selling courtside seats. I decided to buy a couple of seats. Although the team hasn’t been winning lately I do not regret my purchase. I love watching the game at such a close distance. I like hearing the screens being called out and all of the talk on the floor. I just like being close to the game.
While I was at a game versus Fresno State, the team photographer, Paul, came up to me to say hello. I asked him if he would shoot a few photos of me sitting courtside and he did exactly that. I felt like I was a celebrity at a major sporting event. It was great too because I was hanging out with my good friend Edmond who use to play at CSUB.
It was a great day for some basketball.
