I love a photograph that captures the moment. That moment captured can be laughter between two people, a father’s smile who is proud of his daughter, or two people in love holding each other.
While I was in Washington DC last month that is what I was able to capture.
A moment of laughter between Dewanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas who both play for the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA.
Dewanna’s dad, Greg McCall and I go back many years. He is a brother to me. So, to take a candid photo of him and his daughter was priceless. You can see how proud he is of her and that I was the one capturing his love for her in a photo.
Alyssa shared with me that she doesn’t like taking photos. Yet, she opened up to me and allowed me to capture her love for Dewanna.
Life is filled with these moments and if you don’t take the time to see them they will pass you by.
