Venice Beach Hall of Fame

When I think of Venice Beach there is only one thing that comes to my mind, basketball. Every Memorial and Labor day weekend during the 90’s you could find me at Venice Beach. I met so many great hoopers and got to hang out with Bakersfield Hoop Legends. Players like Chris Childs, Jimmy Henry, Fred Eckles, Greg McCall, Reggie Cotton, Sik Wid It, and of course Bernie were all a part of my experience in the ’90s.

I found this video of the 2012 Venice Beach Basketball Hall of Fame Ceremony and I remember I was there that day. That day in 2012 was like reliving my youth all over again.

This video just brings back great memories and great stories from a guy who just loved the game of basketball!

Write it down. Take a picture. I don't give a f*ck!
