Yes… I have gone mirrorless. Leaving the DSLR world has been an adjustment this last month. It started a year ago when I bought the Nikon Z 6. It is a great camera but I only used it for video work. I did not use it for photography work.
About a month ago, I bought the Nikon Z 7 and that started the process of leaving the DSLR world. Mirrorless cameras have some real advantages in my opinion when it comes to photography. Having the ability to see your exposure before you push the shutter button is one reason. What you see is what you get with mirrorless cameras. That feature alone helps me become more efficient. No more looking down at my camera so I can look and see if I got the exposure correct. That is a huge time saver.
Although, I have had to learn a few more adjustments when it comes to taking photos with my strobe lights. The transitions has been worth it.
Here are a few photos I took of my wife with the Nikon Z 7.
