It’s been a few years since I have been in Santa Barbara, California. My first experience with this city was back in the summer of 1990. I had a summer basketball tournament with my high school team. I remember walking along the beach near the pier with the team.
Fast forward some years and a marriage with children the city didn’t seem to change much since my last visit.
The only thing that was different about this visit now… Covid-19! The social distancing. The mask. But, for the most part, Santa Barbara seemed the same as my last visit and the one prior before. It is easy going. It is beautiful. It is what everyone thinks of when they think of California. They think beaches, people riding bikes, people running, and of course tacos.
